PRESERVE’s 5th Consortium Meeting in Kea, Greece!
The 5th PRESERVE face-to-face meeting took place on 7 and 8 October in Kea.
On 7-8 October, PRESERVE partners gathered on the beautiful Greek island of Kea for the project’s fifth consortium meeting. With the sea just steps away and glorious sunshine, it was the perfect setting to reconnect, review progress, tackle challenges and plan the next steps for PRESERVE.
Over two days, the partners explored how end-user requirements have evolved since the first pilot round and how these translate into technical requirements, including their security and integration implications. Work package leaders shared progress, challenges and plans for the next six months, while participants took an in-depth look at the PRESERVE tool, covering its platform architecture, data integration, user experience and the needs of the project’s use cases. Discussions also focused on key open questions in AI model development, including user and entity behaviour analytics (UEBA), natural language processing, computer vision, explainable AI and federated learning. Training modules were also discussed to help ensure that tool developed within PRESERVE can be effectively put into practice.
Beyond the technical discussions, the meeting offered a great opportunity for partners to reconnect and strengthen the collaboration that drives PRESERVE forward.
A heartfelt thank you to PRESERVE partner RISA Sicherheitsanalysen GmbH for the excellent organisation of the meeting. From the choice of venue to all the thoughtful arrangements, RISA helped make these two days both productive and enjoyable.
And thank you to all PRESERVE partners for their commitment and valuable contributions. The consortium left Kea with fresh perspectives, stronger connections and renewed motivation for the months ahead! 🤝
