PRESERVE’s 2nd Face-to-Face Meeting on 2 and 3 April in Athens

Eight months after the project’s kick-off in Vigo, the PRESERVE consortium reconvened for its second in-person meeting.

The amazing city of Athens and the welcoming premises of our hosting partner, the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA), have been the setting for PRESERVE’s second face-to-face meeting on 2 and 3 April.

Held in a hybrid format, the meeting brought together all members of the consortium to discuss the progress made so far during the first eight months of the project.

Over the course of two days, the Work Package leaders presented their activities and achievements, covering the status of deliverables and outlining the tasks planned for the coming months. A number of topic-related workshops were organised to delve into specific aspects of project implementation and collaboratively develop solutions. The second face-to-face meeting also offered a valuable opportunity for open discussions among consortium members, allowing them to raise questions and strengthen collaboration.

The Consortium meeting was followed by PRESERVE’s first international workshop on Civil Security and Proactive Threat Detection and Prevention, held on 4 April.
