PRESERVE participating in CERIS event organized by DG HOME

PRESERVE has been invited to participate in the CERIS annual event on research for fighting crime and terrorism on 24 & 25 September in Brussels.

From 24–25 September 2024, PRESERVE representatives attended the CERIS (Community for European Research and Innovation for Security) annual event on research for fighting crime and terrorism in Brussels.

Organized by DG HOME, the two-day event aimed to facilitate and stimulate discussions and exchanges among security research practitioners, policymakers, researchers, civil society, and industry on cross-cutting topics with a broad and horizontal impact on research and innovation in this domain.

The event provided a platform for sharing experiences and research findings in order to identify current achievements, exploring possible synergies, and inspire innovation while strengthening collaboration on European level.

Marking the project’s first public appearance, representatives from PRESERVE project partner Global Forum Association attended on its behalf, engaging with stakeholders and other EU-funded project representatives.
