PRESERVE at CEPOL’s Pitch Match Innovation Forum

The PRESERVE project was invited by CEPOL (the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training) to participate in the Pitch Match Innovation Forum (PIMIF)Enrichment and Novelty in Law Enforcement Training, held at CEPOL headquarters in Budapest on 28 January.

The forum aimed to explore opportunities for integrating outcomes from EU-funded projects into existing CEPOL training activities and to enhance innovation in law enforcement training across Europe.

In response to this invitation, the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA), represented by George Kokkinis, as leader of the PRESERVE training activities, delivered a presentation including the project’s vision, key results, and training-related methodologies. The presentation demonstrated how PRESERVE’s approaches and outcomes can enhance CEPOL’s training portfolio and strengthen the systematic uptake of research and innovation in law enforcement capacity building.

Participation in PIMIF marked an important step toward aligning PRESERVE’s outcomes with real-world training needs, reinforcing collaboration between research initiatives and European law enforcement training institutions.

We look forward to sustained collaboration and future opportunities to advance Europe’s research and innovation landscape, accelerating the translation of innovation into practice and ensuring that research outcomes are closely aligned with evolving training and societal needs.
